The recent leg of the Alpine Skiing World Cup witnessed FISIP athletes shining brilliantly, clinching a total of eight medals across slalom and super-G competitions. ILPRA extends its heartfelt congratulations to the protagonists of these remarkable achievements.
In the Vision Impaired category, Martina Vozza stood out for her stellar performances, securing a gold in downhill and two silvers in Super-G and Slalom. With a time of 1’38”67, she claimed the second step of the podium in downhill, showcasing determination and skill. Overall, her consistent dedication translated into a bronze in the subsequent slalom.
Renè de Silvestro illuminated the Sitting category with three impressive victories: a gold in Super-G and both Slaloms. His performance, reaffirming him as one of the top athletes in the Cup, featured remarkably competitive times that propelled him to the highest podium position.
In the Standing category, Davide Bendotti achieved solid results, finishing eighth and twelfth respectively in the slaloms of the competition days. Federico Pelizzari, with his fifth and seventh-place finishes in Super-G and slalom, demonstrated great determination and prowess.
