The IFFA 2025 trade fair in Frankfurt has concluded, and ILPRA is proud to have showcased the latest innovations, reinforcing our position as a key player in the meat packaging industry. Our participation highlighted our commitment to sustainability, efficiency, and cutting-edge technology.
One of the standout innovations presented was the ILPRA Paper Shape Line, an advanced system designed for the efficient production of barrier paper-based trays. Developed in co-patent with Cartotecnica Moreschini, this line begins with an Imball system that forms trays directly from flat cardboard sheets. Each tray is then lined with a recyclable plastic layer, making it fully sealable while remaining 100% recyclable. The patented corner design ensures secure sealing, enhancing product integrity and optimizing performance in Modified Atmosphere Packaging (MAP).
Also making its debut was the Titanium flow pack machine, co-developed with TLM SRL. This collaboration led to the formation of Ti Wrap, a joint venture combining ILPRA’s expertise in tray sealing with TLM’s proficiency in flow pack machinery. The Titanium machine, designed for MAP, features a full stainless steel structure and a clean, rational design focused on practicality, hygiene, and operational efficiency. This addition enables ILPRA Group to offer comprehensive packaging solutions, from tray sealing and thermoforming to flow packing.
In the end, Veripack presented its VKF20 and VKB23 machines, designed for performance in any production space. The VKF20 is a compact, high-performing thermoforming machine adaptable to various production environments while, the VKB23, a newly redesigned vacuum belt machine, meets modern industry demands with enhanced performance, a user-friendly interface, and maximum safety—all in a sleek new design.
ILPRA Group’s presence at IFFA 2025 underscored our dedication to innovation and sustainability in meat packaging. We are excited to continue leading the industry towards a more efficient and environmentally friendly future.
